It's day 365 of documenting 2025! The last day of 2025! So, today I decided to not talk about how my day went or dive into highlights. It's day 364 of documenting 2025. 1 day to 2026! The last Tuesday on holiday! It wasn't particularly exciting, but I thank God for how it went. Oh! One more thing... My uncle came back last night! It was all hugs and greetings as we welcomed him. Now, let me start with how today went... The morning was pretty ordinary, with chores and cooking. Then my uncle went out and came back with things we would use for breakfast. He was like, "Make this for me, that's what I want to eat" After breakfast, I then went online on Whatsapp and for the next hour, I was settling a dispute between my assistant course rep, E and his roommate, J We all traveled to his home for a program a few weeks back and the time spent there became a bonding experience...it was like we became siblings 😇 This time around, J had a misunderstanding with E and I just had to come in and make a group call. Apparently, J wanted me to "judge" the case, and I was like, "I ain'...

It's day 363 of documenting 2025. 2 days to 2026! It's a Monday...and guess where I'm not? In the hostel! 😄 It's actually my last Monday here on holiday...and it was definitely well spent. Why? Because I went out. It was the Thanksgiving and Bazaar of the Anglican church my aunt goes to...and I tagged along with my cousin and her friend. My brother didn't go tho....what I would describe as antisocial 😏 For the record, this is an overdue post...meaning I'm writing it much later than I should have. Doesn't change much tho...as I'm still going to share the day's gist. Moving on.... It was in the morning we left for the church. My aunt gave me her bag, hand jewelry, footwear and a wonderfully furry hat to wear. The only thing that was mine was my dress. Well, that didn't matter, as I still looked good ✨ One thing about my aunt is, she likes to make an impression with her dressing. Seems she wanted me to do same and boy! I killed it! 😁 ...

It's day 362 of documenting 2025. 3 days to 2026! Well, today's a Sunday. And not like the typical Sunday at home or in the hostel. Twas a Sunday that didn't feel like a Sunday. So, about how it went... I woke up much earlier than usual and I turned on my phone...to listen to music while I prayed. My tummy trouble wasn't as troubling anymore. I slept afterwards and woke up by much earlier when it was daybreak. Swept, mopped, cooked and washed. I also ate a little portion of food between tasks and when I was done, started on my assignment. In the process, I munched on "sugar free" soda crackers and they didn't disturb my belly at all. Thank God 😌 I finished one part of the assignment, not wanting to rely on or use AI, which could have made it easier. I chose better. The day wasn't as interesting...except for the fact that my aunt was all on bling before she left for church. Her bag, shoes, clothes and wig cost up 100k in naira. Me, my cous...

  It's day 361 of documenting 2025. 4 days to 2026! Is it me, or is today feeling nothing like a Saturday? Maybe it's because my phone is mostly off, and there's no sense of time over here. Because how did one week just pass by?  Well, it's Saturday. And quite different from a Saturday at the hostel. It wasn't as sunny, but twas definitely breezy. So breezy that I took a nap out on the veranda. Today, I woke up with severe tummy trouble...stomach growling and all. Probably because of the soft drink I took after dinner or the snacks I took before then. (I don't listen, do I? 😒) I vomited all I ate last night, at the same time I was stooling. Is this diarrhea? Maybe not. You know why I say so? Because I felt better afterwards. Probably a stomach bug....and I haven't taken any drugs for it yet. The thing is, I haven't told my aunt what's going on with me yet. I will let her know...eventually. (More like when I can't handle it myself any...

It's day 360 of documenting 2025. 5 days to 2026! Would you believe that I didn't know today was a Friday? 😄 That's how clueless I was today. Until evening time, when my aunt was like, "Tomorrow is Saturday, we will cook both soup and stew". That's when I was like, "Today's Friday?" My day wasn't so bad tho....but it started with a runny stomach. I visited the restroom four times! It wasn't a funny experience at all...because at some point, I vomited the at the exact same time I was stooling. I thought I had cholera 😖 Turns out, it was severe indigestion...due to how I've been overeating lately. It's all my fault, I know... If only I would eat a little less 😒 But I definitely learned my lesson, as I didn't eat as much today. I didn't want to upset my belly any further... It's day 359 of documenting 2025. 6 days to 2026! Merry Christmas! ✨ It's officially my first Christmas away from home and this is an overdue post....so it's all going to be about how the day went. Very early this morning, before the cocks started crowing, my aunt called us out for morning prayers. To thank God for seeing us through the year and keeping us alive to see Christmas. After prayers, I got my phone which was already charged and started on the take-home assignment given by our lecturer taking us PSY 109. I read through the articles to be studied and after sometime, fell asleep. I woke up hours later when it was daybreak and called my dad to wish him a wonderful celebration. There was light this time around, but it didn't stay till afternoon 😒 I did my usual chores: sweeping and mopping three rooms used by my aunt. It's day 358 of documenting 2025. 7 days to 2026! It's Christmas Eve! 😄 And I'm at my uncle's place...with my brother, my cousin and her friend. Ma homies! So far, it's been good vibes, laughter, arguments and more laughter all the way. Since yesterday, we've been eating from the same plate and sharing memories. So far, there's been no division...and I hope it continues that way. It's day 357 of documenting 2025. 8 days to 2026 My first holiday Tuesday with ma homies!  My brother turned out to be very accommodating....it seems like he wore another personality! Today's post is going to be all about him. My brother. Let's call him P. He's younger than me with just one year and I've lived with him my whole life. So, I should know how he behaves and acts...sometimes thinks. Maybe it's because we're 3 girls and he's the only guy. That's why he decided to be more....gentlemanly. It's day 356 of documenting 2025. 9 days to 2026! I didn't mention that yesterday was Sunday, right? Well, it's Monday and I'm not in school! 😄 No books or lectures, No compulsory uniform or stress. I woke up in my uncle's house after a wonderful night's rest. My phone was at its lowest, 13%. And where we went to, there's no light. Unfortunately 🥲 My aunt allowed me use her power bank and that's how I'm able to type this. Asides that, it's all good over here. There's food and fun, especially with my cousin and brother around. My cousin came with her friend for the holidays, so we're a group of four now. It's all good vibes 😎 Well, we did chores in the morning. I was charging my phone then.
