Purple Suitcase

It's day 279 of documenting 2025.
86 days to 2026!

It's Monday...and apparently, it was Teacher's Day yesterday.
School closed early, (thank God!) and I was able to run a few errands before heading home.
One of which included taking home the stuff my dad bought.

Well, Dad got me a purple suitcase...and that's when I realized that I would really be making this trip.
I have already told my boss and some of my after-school students that I won't be continuing the term with them.

As expected, they were like,
"Why?"
"Who would teach us now?"
"I'm going to miss you"
And then they would hug me...and I'm going to miss them too.
I was starting to really connect with them, and since I resumed weeks ago, I actually enjoyed teaching.

You know what?
Let's see today's highlights and then I'll share more thoughts....especially about today's training session.

365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 On Learning With Age

"It’s very simple. As you grow, you learn more. If you stayed at twenty-two, you’d always be as ignorant as you were at twenty-two.
Aging is not just decay, you know. It’s growth.
It’s more than the negative that you’re going to die; it’s also the positive that you understand you’re going to die, and that you live a better life because of it."
Quote by Mitch Albom

As time passes, one might feel tempted to believe that their best years are behind them.

Now decay commences, and things can only get worse.
How about looking at it from a different point of view and embracing aging as the learning process?

I like to say that if in five years I’m the same person that I am today, then I'll have failed. Ideally, in five years I should feel slightly uncomfortable about the type of a person I was in the past.

Aging is not merely about your body’s cells dividing and multiplying — it’s also about your knowledge , which (if you make an effort to do so) constantly expands, gives you new perspectives and helps you live an ever better life.

You can look at aging in both ways: a process of deterioration or a process of improvement. Which attitude will bring more happiness and success in your
life?

I think the latter is the better option.
Aging is a process of improvement....and age is just a number.
I'm a typical example of that statement.

I'm 21 and just getting into school, when most of my highschool classmates are done with or almost done with their course of study.
It doesn't bother me, really.
And I'm thankful to God...because if I had gained admission few years ago, without Christ...my life would have been ruined.
Blunt but true 😌

In other news, I started another training for content writers...
For the second time.
It's also three people, like the former training.

And it occurred to me that I don't know how to sell.
Maybe my training, or a course....even my ideas.
I can learn tho...study the books on the topic and apply what I will learn.

You know what?
Let today's post be short...because tomorrow, it will be my last day in school.
Much much to expect.

Oh, before I forget...
I went to visit my hairdresser, the woman who used to make my hair when it was longer.
As expected, she exclaimed.
The highlight of our chat was her motherly advice on university life and the fact that friends will come...but it's up to me to face what I came there to do.

It was wonderful hearing from her after a long while.
Since I cut my hair, I haven't been to her place...since July!
She actually knew my mum before she passed away (bless her soul).

Any more thoughts to add?
Not really.
So therefore, I can say,
Thanks for reading 🎀

PS. I'm finishing up this post by 11:40pm.
