It's The Big 250! 🎉

It's day 250 of documenting 2025.

Today's the big 250! 🎉
Another milestone reached!

I'm so grateful to God 🥲
For helping me throughout all my days of documenting.
Especially the last 50 days, which were part of the turning point in my life.

Sometime ago, when I started with this blog, I saw a comment on one of the posts.
I can't really remember the exact words, but it went along the lines of,
"You still have a long way to go..."
And then, my thought was,
"I'll just take it one day at a time".
And here we are! 😊

With 250 days gone out of 365, it's officially 115 days to 2026.
Wow! We have really come a long way...
And I think I'm going to write something about consistency....after my 365-day streak challenge is over.
I started this blog as a challenge and I'm going to win it.

Well, for today, I'll reflect on some Bible verses I memorized 5 days ago....five of them.
And then I'll share today's highlights from the 365-day book on self-discipline.
(An accompaniment :)

2 Corinthians 5:20 says,
"Now then are we ambassadors for Christ; as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God"

This is simply showing that we should represent Christ in every thing we do.
As followers of Christ, we should endeavor to speak to people concerning God's truth and lead them to reconciliation with Him.

Ezekiel 28:13 says,
"Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God, and not that he should return from his ways and live?"

God is pleased when those who live in unrighteousness, return and choose life in Him.
There is always hope that those who are far from God will draw near to Him.

Galatians 6:9 says,
"And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not".

This is my favorite verse ☺️
This just tells us to continue in the good that we have resolved to do, trusting that we will reap the benefits when the time comes.
It's kinda like the Bible's version of "don't give up".

Psalms 119:10-11 says,
"With my whole heart have I sought thee, O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee"

This is a proclamation and a prayer.
When we truly seek God, we feed on His Word and grow spiritually.
And when we think on His Word, we are comforted. Sometimes we may go astray, but God's grace brings us back 😌
If not for God's grace and mercy, I would have ended up in a really bad state of mind. End of story...

And the last verse, Micah 7:18 says,
"Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by the transgressions of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger forever because he delighteth in mercy."

This is just one of the numerous verses in the Bible that speaks of the mercy of God.
He forgets our misbehavior and doesn't stay angry, because of His love for us.
Who are we to not do same to our fellow man?

These are not just Bible verses, these are principles to live by, promises to stand on, and prayers to say when we call upon God.

There's more where these came from. Just ask God to speak to you through His Word, and start reading. You can simply say,
"God, speak to me through your Word".
If you truly want to listen from God, you will hear from Him.

Let's move on to the next section...
And I want to say,
I don't care if it sounds preachy or different from what I used to write here...I'm just documenting.
If you read the post from day 50 and this one, you'll probably see the difference.
This just shows that I'm not the same person as I was 200 days ago.

That being said...
Let's get into Highlights!
(I'll share the whole note this time:)

365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 On Fluctuating Energy

"Alternating periods of activity and rest is necessary to survive, let alone thrive. Capacity, interest, and mental endurance all wax and wane. Plan accordingly."
Quote by Tim Ferriss

As great as it would be to always have the same high level of energy, unfortunately it fluctuates.
Sometimes you’ll feel more determined, and sometimes less.

Sometimes you’ll feel deep interest in what you’re pursuing, and sometimes you’ll feel bored, ready to give up and try something else.

Sometimes you’ll be able to deliver in one day what you usually create in a week, while on other occasions you’ll barely do 25% of your daily quota.
Plan according to your fluctuating levels of personal resources.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve gained while on my own journey was the necessity of learning how to be flexible and self-compassionate.

If you feel like you’re about to fall asleep because you’ve had a challenging week at work, there’s no rule stating that you must still perform your usual workout routine. Of course, it would be ideal to do so, but realistically, we aren’t infallible and invincible.

If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll know when the exhaustion you feel is mostly an excuse and when it’s a genuine signal from your body.
I consider myself a self-disciplined person, but sometimes I still skip workouts or reduce their intensity when I feel it’s sensible to do so.

I’ve learned to listen to my body and plan accordingly.
This doesn’t apply to fitness alone. In virtually every other area of life, your energy will fluctuate.

Don’t be afraid to change your plans if your current mental state isn’t conducive to certain actions and choices. Don’t stick to a calorie deficit if you’re sick. Stop working on your side business for a few days if you’re dealing with other pressing personal challenges.

You won’t always be able to carry the entire world on your shoulders.
Tune in to your body and mental state and rest guilt-free whenever you genuinely feel you need it.

A wonderful note from the author, Martin Meadows.
There's nothing else I can add to this, apart from agreeing with his point.
And on a milestone day, it's more of a reminder for us to rest when we really need to 😌

Well, that's all for today's post!
Thanks for reading 🎀
Remember, it's just 115 days to 2026...and there's still time to accomplish your goals.
Keep going, my friend....in due season, we shall reap.
