Remembering You're Going To Die?

It's day 157 of documenting 2025.
Happy Celebrations! 🎊
This is to our Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world.
And to the rest of us, happy holidays.
It's a Friyay! 😄
Guess where I am?
Not in school...that's for sure.
And for the whole of next week, there's no school.
Thank God for the mid-term holidays!
I was supposed to schedule this post last night.
But it's all good...you're reading it now and it's another day added to the streak!
There's something I realize just now.
My posts are not top notch.
I still don't know how to structure a proper blog post, fit for a brand's website.
I still don't know how to conduct proper research and gather enough insights to write a post that will educate and lead a prospect to the next step.
I'm just documenting here!
But there's something that I'm learning how to do.
That is, showing up consistently.
Even when the timing is wrong.
Even when I face problems in the real world.
Even when I'm down.
I'm doing this so I can have a story to tell in the future.
About the struggle and the imperfection...
The sacrifices and the persistence.
Believe it or not, 2025 is the beginning of my success journey.
And I want to remember every moment of it.
I was a bit overwhelmed this morning by some urgent content I needed to create.
Then, I took a deep breath, and got to work...
It was completed in about 30 minutes and my mind relaxed.
It's what I signed up for, right?
It might be frustrating sometimes but I'm learning to deal with it.
And I don't consider the option of backing out because it's hard.
Not anymore.
Thoughts aside, I hope it's all good where you are, my friend.
It's true, I'm sharing my thoughts and it seems like it's all about me.
But you're here, on this journey with me. Just you.
It means a lot 💜

I agree with Steve a hundred percent 💯
When you remember that you're going to die, you realize that you don't have anything to lose by chasing your dreams.
"In the face of death, what does pride or fear of embarrassment mean?

will you regret more in your last days: not going after your goals out of a fear of
failure or voluntarily putting yourself in uncomfortable situations that might
result in embarrassment in exchange for eventually making your dreams come
true?"

Oh, and by the way, I finished the book about focus 📖
Titled The Ultimate Focus Strategy and written by Martin Meadows, this was quite an engaging read.
I read the last chapter yesterday.

Don’t make a rash decision, though.
Slowly explore your options and shift from one area to another as your skills
grow and give you new opportunities.
3. The principle of limiting your focus to the most important things still
applies, even if you’re successful.
Dabbling doesn’t work, no matter how great
you are. As a successful person, it might be tempting to spread yourself thin.
You might think you can handle it.
In reality, it will lead to the same virtually
non-existent results as always.
Pay attention to how you spend your mental
energy and limit it to what you absolutely need in your life.

You have to embrace boredom to achieve your goals.
Fall in love with doing the same thing over and over again.
It builds discipline.
Don't they say, "repetition is the mother of skill"?
