Tackling Inner Demons

It's day 133 of documenting 2025.

And I am super late! 😐
I was working on a few of my inner issues this morning.
Last night was just....tough.
I couldn't type and schedule this post.

But hey...you're reading it now,
Aren't ya?
That means I'm not going to let anyone or anything....cause me to break my writing streak.
Next milestone: day 150.

How's it going, my friend? 😊
I hope you're in good health and better spirits.
If you know me personally and you think I'm being distant, I'm not.
I'm realizing that I have some inner demons to tackle...
(We all have them!)
And it's something I have to do on my own.
I hope you understand.

Moving on...
I just finished reading three books before proceeding to type today's post 📚
First is the usual read, 365 Days With Self-discipline by Martin Meadows
Second is The Ultimate Focus Strategy...also by Martin Meadows.
Third is I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi.

The third one is a new addition actually...
It's all about finances and money management, and all that stuff.
Learning more about personal finance is another goal of mine....
Yesterday, I came across a quote from the introduction of the another book on personal finance.
Rich Dad Poor Dad. (Sounds familiar? 😏)

"Money is a form of power.
What is more powerful is financial education.
Money comes and goes, but if you have the education about how money works, you gain power over it and can begin building wealth."
Facts 💯
That's the goal, my friend.
To get the education about how money works, something they don't teach in schools.
(Nothing against schools tho...)

Another thing is, I'm learning how to stick to one strategy.
One method...one platform.
Now, it's just Facebook.
I did some research yesterday on the best way to get clients for a freelance writing service.
ChatGPT mentioned LinkedIn like a hundred times in its responses 🙄
And occasionally Threads.

For now, at this point where I am, I can only work with Facebook.
Tell me I haven't thought of other platforms and the opportunities they possess.
But you know what?
If I can't master one platform, I can't master any other platform.
What better one to start with than the giant of em' all?

One quote I picked up from The Ultimate Focus Strategy is this:
"Whenever you feel tempted to change things before you achieve your goal, remind yourself about your priorities. If your current process works, don’t change it just because you feel bored."
Facebook works for marketing and building connections.
I just have to learn and practice.
It might take a while...but it will work for me 😌

Anyhoo...let's move on to Highlights.
Today, I just had to lift the whole note for day 133.
There's no standalone quote there... everything just blends into each other.
Besides, it's not too long.

365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 On Self Caring

"Self-discipline is self-caring.
If we feel ourselves valuable, then we will feel our time to be valuable, to organize it and protect it and make maximum use of it."
Quote by M. Scott Peck

"The way you look at what self-discipline is can affect how self-disciplined you are.

If you think of self-discipline as punishing yourself in return for some possible benefits in the future, how likely are you going to be eager to maintain it in your life?

Instead, what if you embraced self-discipline as self-caring, a way of manifesting that your time is valuable to you and that you want to make the most of it?

Now, instead of seeing every temptation as something pleasant that you must avoid for the possible future benefit, you’d look at it as a threat to your well-being.

For example, upon adopting this outlook on life, you’d understand on a deeper level that watching TV for hours on end is not entertainment; it’s killing your valuable time, and in the case of low-quality TV, killing your brain cells.

And the other way around: things that you currently consider torturous (such as waking up early, eating vegetables, saving money, expanding your comfort zone, and so on) would all become manifestations of self-care.

You’d understand on a deeper level that waking up early makes you more productive, and consequently, creates more time and energy for you — even if it isn’t always fun."

No comments on this one...
I'll just take it all in.
Wonderful perspective 🥲

Blast From The Past
📌 What The Fuzz?

Okay, this was one of the hey-days of my offer.
I was on Threads then, and I was trying to build an audience to promote the ChatGPT Mastery Blueprint.
An offer I created myself.

A lady on Threads was selling something similar to mine.
Someone she probably created herself as well.
But I wasn't jealous....more like challenged to do better.

Now, I want to eat my words something I said there 😅
In the post, I didn't agree with a point raised from a video...that to learn effectively, one doesn't have to read the whole book.

Well, now I agree.
Some books I started reading this year, I didn't get halfway before dropping them.
Others, I just picked out particular lessons and moved on.
And for the record...I don't always finish any book I start reading 📖
There are some exceptions tho...
You'll see the difference between then and now.

Is that all for today's post?
Hmm 🤔
I think so...
I still have to post on Facebook and some other things on my status.
This is where we draw the curtains.

Thanks for reading 🎀
For joining me on another day successfully added to my streak.
If you want to catch up on posts from last week, visit Documenting 2025.
I'll see you there 😉

I'm Duon Ada, the eccentric writer.
I'm documenting 2025.
And I'll see you tomorrow
Ciao 💕
