Six Keys To Harness....

It's day 141 of documenting 2025.

I collapsed again.
After I came back from the school yesterday, I didn't even look at my lunch.
The bed called out to me...and I answered immediately.
Two hours later, I woke up.

This teaching job is really stretching me.
That's good.
I will never complain because I signed up for it.
Besides, I notice that the students relate more with me than the other teachers.
It's not really a thing to brag about.

Okay, I'm going to brag a little ๐Ÿ˜„
Maybe it's because I'm using techniques that the other teachers don't use....
They probably haven't had a teacher keeping names on a list.
All they've seen is a cane in the hand.
I've never held one in any of my classes so far.
Honestly, I don't intend to.

They can be naughty sometimes...
They may want to misbehave.
I give them warnings...and most times, they stop.
They probably don't want to get on my blacklist.
(Do I have a blacklist? ๐Ÿคจ)

Anyways, we go again today.
It's a duty I have to perform.
I'm learning more than I'm teaching them...
And also training myself on how to be uncomfortable....
No bed or house to heep me in comfort.

Alright, my friend ☺️
That's all about yesterday....and today...
Let's get down to business.

365 Days With Self-discipline
๐Ÿ“Œ On Punctuality

"A person who cannot keep appointments on time, cannot keep scheduled commitments, or cannot stick to a schedule cannot be trusted in other ways either."  Quote by Dan Kennedy

"Punctuality is another facet of a self-disciplined person, while tardiness is often a sign of a preference toward immediate gratification."
(Really? ๐Ÿค”)

"If you’re often late, realize that being late to an appointment doesn’t differ from breaking a promise; it’s still an act that can cost you the trust of another person.
In addition to that, it demonstrates that you lack organizational skills and self-discipline.
Is this the message you want to display to the world? Is being late something that will help you realize your full potential or stand in your way?"

(Deep questions, my friend...)

"Set a new self-discipline challenge for yourself: resolve to always be at least five minutes early for every appointment in the next 30 days. After a full month, it should become a new norm for you, and you should benefit from improved relationships, as well as newly-gained self-respect for having developed the reputation of being a punctual person."

Ready...set...challenge! ๐Ÿ’ช
Can you do it?

Moving on....
The newest section in town ๐Ÿ˜

Blast From The Past
๐Ÿ“Œ When Last Did You Feel Jealous?

Yeah...
I definitely remember why I wrote this post.
It was when my sister got her job as a teacher...for the first time.

I had applied for another job; not the teaching post.
(I avoided it then...)
I wasn't called for an interview.
But she got her job.

I became jealous.
It was a strange feeling because I'm not the jealous type.
I got over it tho...
I realized that it was pointless to be envious of what I could get later on.
It's her journey, not mine.

Fast forward to 4 months later, I have my own job now.
Funny how life goes ๐Ÿ˜
Lesson: Jealousy is a total waste of your energy.
What you need at any point in your life will be provided for you.

Before I forget,
I want to remind us of something I wrote in that post.
It's from Tony's book, "Awaken The Giant Within".
I'll quote from the post itself.

"Tony gave six keys to help anyone harness the power of decision.
He referred to it as the power that shapes our experience of life every moment that we live it.

I'm going to give a summary of the six keys I took down in my note."

๐Ÿ—️ Remember the true power of making decisions. It's a tool you can use in any moment to change your entire life.

๐Ÿ—️ Realize that the hardest step in achieving anything is making a true commitment; a true decision. You know you've truly made a decision when action flows from it.

๐Ÿ—️ Make decisions often. Muscles get stronger with use, and so it is with your decision-making muscles.

๐Ÿ—️ Learn from your decisions. At times, you're going to screw up, no matter what you do.

๐Ÿ—️ Stay committed to your decisions, but stay flexible in your approach. It's the end you're after.

๐Ÿ—️ Enjoy making decisions. You must know that in any moment, a decision you make can change the course of your life forever.

Six keys...
Now you know where the title of today's post comes from.
Are you making decisions, my friend?
I hope you are.

Let's end today's post here.
It's almost time for the school assembly....and I'm speed-typing.
The things I do for a 365-day streak ๐Ÿฅฒ
