#Trying Out Scheduled Posts
It's day 74 of documenting 2025.
Follow up from yesterday: I didn't write a note to Elle.
Apart from the excuses I can give, I would say there's a chance of Viola and Elle getting back as friends.
They sat at a corner of the class with other classmates.
They didn't sit together, neither did they talk to each other.
It's a wild guess and I hope I'm right....
If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the previous post.
Well, it's Saturday 🙌🏼
And I'm typing by midnight.
For some reason, I can't sleep.
Scratch that!
I can't sleep because I don't want to forget what I'm about to type.
And I also want to try out the scheduling feature of the app I'm using for my blog, which is called "Blogger".
For real!
It's owned by Google and it's the coolest app when it comes to editing and publishing my posts.
I want to see what a scheduled post will look like after it has been posted.
I'll type and format this post, but I'll schedule it so I can sleep in and wake up to post the blog link on Facebook and my WhatsApp status as well.
So, three things happened yesterday and I just want to say it all.
Maybe for the highlights, I'll just give the quotes without adding my thoughts to it.
Most times, they're pretty easy to understand on their own.
I just add my two cents once in a while 🪙
Okay, first thing
(Not actually a happy one 😐)
Dora came to the center yesterday and I noticed she wasn't feeling well.
It seemed like she was trying to hide her tears....as she constantly blew her nose into her handkerchief.
She wiped her red eyes continuously and even got up because 'she wanted to stand'.
We engaged in small talk and I asked if she was okay.
She said she was just tired.
I kept asking what was wrong.
Same response 😔
I think she was sad about something but didn't want to say what it was.
Elle noticed as well and asked me why she was crying.
Obvious much? 😢
I just hope she's feeling better now.
I understand that she doesn't want to tell me anything.
But she shared a couple of laughs with the students in the class....and it was nice to see her smile again 🙂
There's never a dull moment at the tutorial and I'm glad about that.
It helped Dora today.
It distracted her from what was making her sad, although it was for a little while.
Second thing 🥈
I'm going to start learning how to use an actual laptop!
PK, my closest friend, suggested it when I told him of my plan to get a laptop for my content engagements.
He brought up the fact that it might be a little difficult when I actually get my own laptop....to start the learning process when I should be working with it.
I talked to a friend of mine at the tutorial who owns a small laptop.
She brought it to class a couple of times and she told me I could use it for 5 days!
I was quite surprised when she told me I could take it home 😯
When I get it, I'll start a "laptop series" on this blog with the exclusive feedback on my experience with it.
I could probably go from rookie to pro in those five days 💻
It's possible.
Third thing 🥉
I got a review from one of my readers yesterday.
He's a marketing coach and he told me he wanted to start content writing.
In fact, he's the person that introduced me to affiliate marketing last year.
I remember quite well....I was led to his DM from his Instagram ad.
That was how my online journey began....
Story aside, he asked me for the link to yesterday's post because he missed it.
I thanked him for being a fan of my eccentric work.
(Not exact words I used tho 😄)
Then he was like,
"I really love it, honestly
I can't miss it for a day"
It warmed my tiny little heart ❤️
I'm happy to know that my writing is inspiring and entertaining people at the same time.
120 readers in 30 days is no small feat!
I thank God for putting it in my heart to do this.
And I pray he sees me through till the end.
I'm going to thank you as well, my friend.
For being part of over 100 people reading this.
I'm really grateful 🥲
There you have it!
The three things that happened yesterday.
I didn't want to forget any details, so I decided to type when they were still fresh in my memory.
Another memory documented ✅
I'm feeling sleepy now....
(Permit me to yawn 🥱)
So, let's do highlights now.
Weekends are usually free for me.
I get to pick the actual book I want to read.
That's what I meant by free, just so you know...
So, I decided to finish the chapter of The Five Second Rule by Mel Robbins.
Next week will be a new chapter 📖
And I'm sure you know the usual....365 Days With Self-discipline by Martin Meadows.
Let's get into it 👇🏼
365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 Day 74: On Acting Less And Thinking More
"Act less, think more.
Reflect on what really matters to you.
Stop doing anything that isn’t valuable, that doesn’t make you happy.
Savor life."
Quote by Richard Koch
"The danger in acting more than thinking is that eventually you’ll find yourself working on goals you don’t really care that much about or doing things in a less than optimal way."
"Periodically pause and reflect on your own choices.
Are you pursuing goals that matter to you?
Are you working on your goals in a way that fits your lifestyle, or is there imbalance and disharmony?"
Short but straight to the point 👌🏼
Most people think it's all about making a profit or earning cash.
They don't even think of the long term, whether they can see their future selves doing it or not.
It's sad.....
The Five Second Rule
📌 You'll Never Feel Like It
"Confidence is a skill that you build through action."
"This is precisely why the 5SecondRule is your ally.
It is a tool for action and for behavior change aligned with your goals and commitments.
It is not a tool forthinking, and at the end of the day, you are going to need to do more than think if you want to change your life."
"As Wilson and Aristotle said, “Do good, be good.” Change your behavior first because when you do, you change how you perceive yourself."
"At the heart of everyday courage is a choice.
Five seconds at a time you make a decision to do, say, or pursue what’s truly important to you.
That’s why there’s such a tight bond
between courage and confidence"
"Every time you smash your excuses and 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 say it, you honor the greatness inside of you that wants to be heard.
That’s how confidence grows—one small, courageous move at a time."
I guess it explains itself.
Confidence, courage and change.
And I'm sure you picked up a thing or two
As always, I thank you 🙏🏼
For reading another documentation of 2025.
