Seven Questions, Four Guys
It's day 57 of documenting 2025.
First off, I want to rant 😡
I'm pissed off with the power situation in my area.
I'm definitely part of the numerous people that were disappointed because there was no power last night.
As it was supposed to be.
But that's all I can do....rant.
Then hope the power gets restored today
(Okay, I'm done ranting now...)
Well, yesterday/night was a mix of questions, surprising answers and my unseriousness.
I noticed a pattern.
I didn't do my night routine because I was knocked out by sleep 😴
You know, the kind that doesn't allow you do anything else because you're already on the bed.
Anyways, I've realized that it's better to start with my routine immediately after dinner.
Normally, I would wait till it was time for everyone to go to bed.
Well, with the disappointment of no power which lead to darkness in the house, all I could think of was jumping into bed.
I know better now.
And I'll do something different today 😌
Now, let me tell you how my time at the tutorial center went.
I was able to ask 4 guys the same set of questions.
And I asked a teacher a random question after his class.
As I listened to the teacher's response, I was amazed by how much experience he had.
And I would never have known if I didn't have the courage to ask.
I would like to write a full post about him and his experience.
But I think I have to let him know first, so he could give more in-depth answers.
That is, if he's comfortable with me writing about him.
We'll see how it goes.
Anyhoo....
I'm going to share the 7 questions I asked the 4 guys and I'm going to give you an overview of their answers.
Then talk specifically about one of them.
The questions centered around making money, so it could be easier to answer.
I didn't want to go into deep stuff.
(Or did I?)

Guy 2: Using earnings from graphics design gigs to further invest in my course
Guy 3: Hmm 🤔
Guy 4: Cashing out from my electronics company
(I don't think the last three guys understood the concept of financial goals)
These are the questions and their answers.
You're free to draw your own conclusions about each of the guys.
I'll probably share my thoughts on this in a future post.
I know you might be wondering,
What about the ladies?
Why didn't you ask them?
Let me answer that.
I think it's because their answers might be predictable.
But I'll definitely ask to see if I'm right or not.
Now, I want to talk specifically about one of the guys....Guy 1.
They call him Bishop.
He's a computer expert, according to what he said.
From the way he expressed himself, he seems confident in his abilities.
Before I asked him the 7 questions, I asked if he would pay for a course or training that could teach him to make money.
His reply, "It depends".
He said he got scammed last year through one of the schemes of "legit way to make money online".
He didn't disclose what it was and I understood that.
He's cautious about those schemes now.
From my deductions, I think he's a logical buyer.
He would have to be strongly convinced before 'investing' into one of those 'online courses' again.
One funny thing, he said he was convinced the first time because a lot of testimonials were shared.
Even video testimonials.
Then again, he pointed out that anyone could say anything on camera for 5k.
It could be all faked.
Calling all internet marketers!
How can you convince Bishop of a truly legitimate opportunity,
One that would require him to open his banking app?
If you know, you know 🤓
Well, the fact is, not all prospects can be closed.
If Bishop was your prospect, can he be closed?
Well, that's all about 7 questions and 4 guys.
I'll probably ask the ladies the same question today.
That is, if I get the chance to do so.
And I'll share their answers as well.
Let's move to today's highlights.
Highlights from the books I read before typing.
These are:
365 Days With Self-discipline by Martin Meadows (usual)
SMART Goals Made Simple by S.J Scott (Wednesday's read)
Format is:
1. Book title
2. Name of chapter
3. Highlighted points
Let's dive in 📚
365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 Day 57: On Two Types Of Happiness
"Science suggests that the fleeting happiness you get from succumbing to a temptation is inferior — at least when it comes to its effect on how your genes
express — to the type of happiness you can draw out of a sense of purpose and meaning in life."
"..... a person guided by a deep sense of purpose is less likely to suffer from inflammation and more likely to have a stronger immune
system."
"When all of your decisions are aligned toward a better future (even if you’re suffering at times because things don’t go as planned or it’s hard to maintain self-discipline), you wake up fired up, with vigor and a sense of purpose you’d never get if you were to prioritize hedonic well-being."
🤔 Makes you think, doesn't it?
SMART Goals Made Simple
📌 5 Actions To Turn S.M.A.R.T Goals Into Habits
"The unpleasant truth is that while setting goals can be fun, the
achievement part often requires a daily slog of repeating the same action over and over."
"Ultimately, it’s your habits that will make or break your goal achievement efforts."
"There are no secrets to completing a goal.
In fact, it’s a straightforward, process with five actions:
1. Turn your goal into a project
2. Schedule time every day to work on goals ⏰
3. Turn goals into important tasks
4. Schedule time for single actions
5. Track your goals".
"Successful Goals = Successful Habits
I’ll admit it’s not glamorous to repeat the same action day in and day out, but that’s the real secret to achieving a long-term goal."
"When a goal turns into a habit, you don’t have to “force” yourself to do it every day.
Instead it’ll become a natural part of your day like eating, brushing your teeth or driving a car."
I totally agree with the last paragraph.
If something becomes a habit, it seems natural.
That's why it matters to have good habits system.
For me, writing is a habit.
And this blog, which I don't force myself to write, shows it.
Well, my friend, this is where the post ends.
I hope you have developed good habits,
And you're working on leaving behind the bad habits (I know I am!).
