Me? Chorister?

It's day 339 of documenting 2025
26 days to 2026!

Happy Friyay! ☺️
It's the first Friday of the last month of this year.
We're alive and breathing.
We're still here.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us! πŸ™Œ

Okay, today went fantastically...
I addressed my coursemates today and they all actually stayed to listen.
All eyes were on me as I shared tips on how they can conquer their study, even with busy schedules.

I actually pitched my blueprint, which I created this year.
Lemme share a secret with you concerning this blueprint...
The initial goal was to make a million by promoting it.
Quite ambitious if you ask me! πŸ˜„

But one thing I've realized is that ambitious dreams require outstanding actions...and I couldn't take those actions.
Largely because I lost confidence in it...and I believe God wanted it that way.

It was recently, when I got here that I realized that my product had value...probably because I have the privilege of meeting a lot of people.
Anyways, I digressed....

As I was saying...
I pitched in my product, as a way for them to learn how to utilize AI for various purposes, even in making moneyπŸ’°
Then I also suggested techniques they could use for their studies as well....techniques I have also used.

I didn't forget the apps.
The apps that have helped me, I recommended to them as well.
Hmm πŸ€”
This could be the building blocks of another upcoming blueprint!
You never know...

Well, today ended well...
With me practicing a song for a church choir.
Me? A chorister?
Three months ago, I would be like,
"Nah son...nah" πŸ™…

But my coursemate, who's also the assistant course rep...made it sound interesting.
It's kinda fun to learn the songs...

I actually learned that professional choristers learn the sol-fa notation of the song first, before even learning the tune or the lyrics. Pretty interesting!

I decided to sing, mainly because of the experience ✨
As well as the opportunity to learn Igbo songs and worship songs as well...because they all glorify God.
The only thing is, I'll have to travel to the place. Let's see how it goes 😌

Up next? Highlights!
And as usual, we end with takes on the topic and concluding thoughts.
Sounds like a plan!

365 Days With Self-discipline
πŸ“Œ On Appreciating Your Body

"When all is said and done, the most important thing is to respect and appreciate the body you have. It’s great to strive for physical perfection, but the journey matters more than the destination."
Quote by Al Kavadlo

If you have a car, you probably regularly take it to the carwash. You drive it carefully in order not to scratch it or ding it.

You respect it and appreciate it
because it’s your vehicle.
Sadly, while most people take great pains to keep their cars pristine, they don’t think about their bodies in the same way.

They fail to notice that while a car is replaceable, their body is the only body they’re ever going to get.
If you’re constantly failing to introduce healthy habits, think of it as an expression of respect toward your body.

I know, it sounds cheesy, but ultimately many people fail to care for their bodies because they never adopt a good, empowering metaphor to help them in their efforts.

Make exercise primarily about self-respect and appreciation for your body, and not an obsession to build a perfect body (which often leads to so much pressure that people completely give up).

It doesn’t matter if you’re obese, if you can’t run for more than a minute, or if you can’t perform a single push-up.

What matters right here and right now is to learn to start caring for your body in the same way as you care for your other prized possessions.

Once healthy living becomes a habit (just like taking your car to the carwash or cleaning your house), then you can set more specific fitness goals to further strengthen your body.

For now, your only preoccupation should be to change your actions so that they manifest your respect toward the only body you have.

A strong metaphor indeed!
Self-respect and appreciation for your body. Most people don't have this in mind.

I don't want to make assumptions...
But I would just say that most times, people of my age would engage in exercise to get the "perfectly slim and toned" body.

I used to engage in exercise too.
Like strong, but not too vigorous workouts....for the sake of "getting in shape".
I didn't stick to the routine for a long time tho...
Things happened 😏
(Or rather, I lost interest...)

Right now, the best form of exercise for me in school is walking. Just them legs taking me where I need to go.
Even climbing them stairs to my room? Very strenuous workout!
(Strenuous! πŸ˜…)

Jokes apart tho....I would have loved to engage in jogging.
The roads in my school are very tarred and jog-worthy.
But there's no time, man!
Besides, I don't have the right uniform or footwear for it.
It's definitely on my mind tho...as a wonderful dream 😌

I think that would be all for today's documentation.
Thanks for reading πŸŽ€
Today was definitely a blessed day, all glory to God.

And tomorrow, there's an event I'm expected to show up at.
Don't worry you'll get the gist tomorrow.

See you in the next post πŸ’œ
