Four Years, Emotional State
It's day 349 9f documenting 2025.
16 days to 2026!
Today was tough 😪
Maybe because of the errands I had to run in the evening, or because of the fact that I overindulged on snacks and felt bad afterwards.
Or maybe because I slept off during lectures today...twice!
A not-so-good record.
Well, the main thing is...I felt down.
So down that I just glued my eyes to my phone screen; trying to avoid the thoughts that flooded my mind.
Later on, I went to get a new pair earphones...as my old pair isn't working properly.
As I came back to the hostel, I was just thinking how I had just probably made a financial mistake.
But to be sincere, I needed new earphones.
I think I got back to my normal self...after an hour of sitting by myself and just listening to songs that reflected my emotional state.
That artiste called Kaestrings is blessed ✨
How I came around?
By just opening my mouth and saying sorry to Jesus. I was so focused on the fact that I messed up again and how hard consistency can be.
But then I remembered all that Jesus had done for me and how four years of my staying at home turned out to be the tribulation that gave way to experience.
I'm so grateful 🥲
I realized that I don't always have to rely on my ability to resist temptation.
I can call on Jesus and He will always come to my aid.
Well, asides my emotional rollercoaster, today was okay.
At least, the lecturer showed up.
I hope the lecturer taking us tomorrow will show up as well, because I can't imagine the reaction of my coursemates.
They could go ballistic! 😅
Alright, alright...
Let's look at today's highlights.
In addition, the usual concluding bit and the post ends.

📌 On Managing Energy
"Energy, not time, is the fundamental currency of high performance."
—Jim Loehr
You can have all the time in the world, but if you don’t have energy, it
won’t mean anything.
Your energy is your primary resource needed to change your life for the better; if you lack it, your chances of attaining your goals drop
to zero.
For this reason, it’s vital to learn how to manage your energy.
That’s why I’m so adamant about the importance of healthy habits like getting enough sleep,
eating healthily, and exercising regularly.
If you don’t have such habits, your
energy levels are compromised and you’re less likely to achieve your goals.
In addition to healthy habits, consider making a list of things, places, and
people who energize you and a second list of those that rob you of energy.
Now
that you have both lists in front of you, think about how you can restructure your
life to spend as much time as possible in an energizing environment with
energizing people, and as little time as possible in situations that rob your
energy.
For example, large crowds exhaust me, so you’ll almost never find me in
one.
On the other end of the spectrum, spending time in nature recharges me, so
I strive to be outdoors at least a few times a week.
Energy management is one of the key skills you need to perform well in
both your professional and personal life.
Let me assure you that no matter how
disciplined you are, if you routinely exhaust yourself, one day you’ll burn out.
Wouldn’t it be better to learn how to manage your energy today, so that you can
avoid this unpleasant problem altogether?
Yeah.... it's always the best to learn how to manage my energy.
Right now, I feel super tired 😫
Ready to collapse on my bed when I remembered that I have this blog post to write.
I just have to do it now...and tomorrow tells a different story.
Well, this where I say goodbye.
That would be all for today's documentation.
Thanks for reading 🎀
Would you believe I haven't read most of the posts I've been writing?
It's mainly because of all my engagements and how occupied I can get.
The year is slowly coming to a close, but God has given us the grace to be alive to see that happen with out any guilt.
See you in the next post 💜
