Your Facebook Nuggets...Served Warm!
It's day 80 of documenting 2025.
Wow!
What a journey!
80 days and counting!
Can I tell you something, my friend?
Since I started typing, I haven't read any of my former posts.
Sometimes I read the post of the day to see if I made any spelling errors.....
(I didn't say that 😐)
Today is day 80....and I simply can't remember what I wrote on day 1.
It's faded, to be honest.
For now, I'm just living each day, one post at a time.
Maybe when the year is over, I can read through each post.....
Time will tell.
Anyhoo, it's a Friyay! 🎊
Signalling the end of this week...
And the beginning of the weekend that will usher in a new week.
And the cycle continues.
Let's do highlights first before I talk about how yesterday went.
It's quite the gist...
Don't miss it 😉
Today's books are:
📚 365 Days With Self-discipline by Martin Meadows
📚 Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuck
We're still on Facebook....it's quite a long chapter.
365 Days With Self-discipline
📌 Day 80: On Cultivating Positivity When Things Go Bad
"Good humor is a tonic for mind and body.
It is the best antidote for anxiety
and depression.
It is a business asset. It attracts and keeps friends.
It lightens human burdens. It is the direct route to serenity and contentment.
Quote by Grenville Kleiser
"Treating everything seriously is a sure-fire recipe for frustration and depression, particularly when you repeatedly get hit with one obstacle after another with no chance to catch your breath.
Negative thoughts can sprout in even the most positive minds, but it’s your choice whether you nurture them or pull them out."
"I’m not going to sugarcoat it. You will face seemingly hopeless situations and your self-discipline will be tested on numerous occasions.
How will you maintain good spirits despite the negative circumstances?
What are your most effective techniques to make yourself feel better?"
"I strongly suggest creating a list of simple ways you can improve your mood that you’ll be able to turn to when you find yourself in a distressing situation."
The very last paragraph gives a wonderful suggestion ✨
One that I haven't thought of before.....'
Will I try it? Maybe
If I remember.....
The quotes speak for themselves, right?
I don't think there's anything else I can add...
To be honest, I got nothing.

📌 Storytell On Facebook
"......it’s never been more important to produce quality content that people want to actually interact with—a brand’s future visibility on the platform depends on its current customer engagement levels (and soon this trend will spread to all the other platforms, as well)"
"Facebook’s greatest priority is making the platform valuable to the consumer, not to you, the marketer.
What it cares about is whether people are interested in the content they see on Facebook, because if they’re interested, they’ll come back."
"On Facebook, the definition of great content is not the content that makes the most sales, but the content that people most want to share with others."
"Consumers’ eyes are on Facebook. If the only way to reach those consumers is to get them to engage, then it’s up to you to create not just great content, but content that’s so great they want to engage with it."
"Unfortunately, while it tries hard to guess what is important to users, Facebook still can’t determine their intent."
"Facebook doesn’t know, but it desperately wants to, so it keeps tweaking the algorithm to figure the mystery out.
This is why even though most of your content might get seen today, you can’t trust that it will tomorrow."
Well, these quotes end the section I read.
Facebook is such an interesting platform, isn't it?
It was quite simple to use back then...in my opinion.
Now it's just....upgraded 🙄
But as marketers, we gotta use it no matter how we feel, yeah?
That's all about highlights.
Now, how yesterday went?
Hmm 🤔
Let's start somewhere....
A school friend and I were supposed to meet up yesterday before the time my evening classes were to start.
Unfortunately, something held him up and he couldn't make it.
To be honest, I was a bit sad.
But we can reschedule the meetup and next week will be better 😌
I wanted to leave my phone at home yesterday but because I was expecting my friend, I took it along.
What cheered me up was the fact that I was able to put a smile on a girl's face by lending her my phone, so she could call her dad.
I was happy, knowing that my phone helped to make someone's day.
Something I didn't plan to bring with me.
I guess that's how life works! 🤷🏼
Well, my friend
I guess I should end the post here.
Those Facebook nuggets may be a bit hard to digest 😅
But it's the end of the section tho...
I'll start with a new section next time.
Thanks for reading ☺️
As always, you're here reading my documentation.
It means a lot to me....it really does.
I'm Duon Ada, the eccentric writer behind the screen, typing out this post.
I'm documenting 2025.
And I'll see you tomorrow.
Ciao 💕
