What The Fuzz?
It's day 2 of Documenting 2025.
And honestly I have a lot going on in my mind as I'm typing but I'm just going to push through.
Should I start with the fact that I discovered that someone was already selling the same offer as mine? (To my horror 😨)
Or with the fact that I ended up doomscrolling on Facebook when I had things to do?
I haven't seen one hour fly so fast as I saw it yesternight.
(I got back on track tho...)
Anyways, I'm going to share some of my notes on the second chapter of the book I'm reading.
The book by Anthony Robbins: Awaken The Giant Within.
Before that, I want to share something that caught my attention on Facebook. It was a video.
I really can't remember the name I saw at the top...you know, the profile.
But the guy in the video said something about how to enjoy reading.
He said that many people don't like reading because of the many chapters and the thought that they should read the whole book makes them put it off.
Then he pointed out a way. He said and I'm going to paraphrase:
"Read one relevant chapter of one book, then put it down...you don't need to read the whole thing.
Do the same for the next book...read one relevant chapter only.
What you're doing is that you're picking the chapters like blog posts and learning from them".
Then he encouraged viewers to try it out and see how enjoyable reading can be.
Well, let me just give my opinion on this...
I like to finish whatever book I start reading. Period.
I just like to learn from books.
I don't really agree with that approach.
Maybe it can be a good approach for you...if you don't really like reading much.
I can't imagine that someone wouldn't like reading...and I guess it's all preference.
What I prefer may not be what you prefer....but it doesn't hurt to try a different method.
Okay let's get into the notes....
So, I read the next chapter of the book and it was titled, "How To Create Lasting Change".
He gave three step to do that:
1. Raise your standards
2. Change your limiting beliefs
3. Change your strategy
On raising standards, Tony (can I call him Tony?...feel personal) wrote down:
📌 All the things he would no longer accept in his life
📌 All the things he would no longer tolerate
📌 All the things he aspired to becoming.
Overall, the chapter was still like an intro after the intro.... because he talked about coaching me through the book.
About what exactly?
Concentration on 5 areas of life that impact us most:
1. Emotional mastery (most important)
2. Physical mastery
3. Relationship mastery
4. Financial mastery
5. Time mastery
And he ended the chapter with this exact phrase:
"Let's begin our journey by exploring "
I'm all about the journey and I love exploring...so, I think this book will be life-changing for me.
It's one chapter per day, and I'll give you my thoughts on the next chapter tomorrow.
That's all about my notes.
About that offer....
I'm still going to promote it, even if it's not perfect...and maybe make a few tweaks on the product description in Selar.
One thing I hear often is that people don't buy perfection, they buy connection. And I'll try to connect with my audience...and eventually make sales.
You know what, Ami?
Let me tell you a secret (shh... promise not to tell anyone! 🤫)
I take all this as a game....I'm playing to win but before I get to that point, I understand that I have to lose...a lot.
But I'm going to master this game.
And when I do, freedom will in all aspects of life, will never be my problem, ever again.
See you in the next post 😊
Oh and by the way, I've got a few free ebooks on marketing, if you're into that kind of stuff.
