Get A Slice Of This!

It's day 4 of documenting 2025

And I want to make something clear.

When I say Ami, I'm referring to you.
The person reading this.
Ami means 'friend' in French.
Yeah....I like the language.

Anyways, it's Saturday....but it doesn't feel like it.
Have you ever felt like that, Ami?
Wednesdays feeling like Saturdays? 😅

So yesterday, I gathered people in a group and taught them about AI prompting.
I actually count it as a win because the last time I tried to do so, it flopped.
Then, I focused mainly on making a sale, not teaching something.
That was last year....and I tried to avoid forming one since then.

But yesterday, I did something different....
I paid a designer to make my flyer....and I sent it out for promotions.
And the flyer didn't indicate a class.
It indicated a 'hangout' where they would get updates about a new high-paying skill.

To my surprise, many people joined.....50 members in the morning alone!
I was overjoyed because I hadn't taught that much people before.
By evening, I had 80+ members.

Look at me..... teaching people who actually want to learn from me 😁
It's a wonderful way to start the year.

Well, back to my notes....
I'm reading the book, Awaken The Giant Within by Anthony Robbins.
And I'm on the second chapter.

I still didn't finish the chapter I started...(turns out, it's longer than I thought)
But I discovered that it was divided into sections by relevant quotes.

The first quote was,
"Man is not the creature of circumstances, circumstances are the creatures of men" by Benjamin Disreali
The next one (from the section I read yesterday) is:
"Nothing can resist the human will that will stake even its existence on its stated purpose" by Benjamin Disreali

Tony stated that decisions act as the source of both problems and incredible joys and opportunities.
The power that sparks the process of turning the invisible into the visible.

He convinced me that I already possess this power.
I do....you do....we all do.
We all possess this power.

He told me I could start by proclaiming,
"This is who I am.
This is what my life is about.
And this is what I'm going to do.
Nothing will stop me from achieving my destiny.
I will not be denied".

He also gave examples of people whose decisions changed lives.
Mahatma Gandhi
John F. Kennedy
Martin Luther King Jr
Rosa Parks
Ed Roberts, a quadriplegic who became the first of his kind to graduate from the university of California.

Tony pointed out that it's not important initially to know how you're going to create a result.
What's important is to decide you will find a way, no matter what.

Then he gave the Ultimate Success Formula, an elementary process for getting you where you want to go.
1. Decide where you want
2. Take action
3. Notice what's working or not
4. Change your approach until you achieve what you want.

In my opinion, it seems quite simple. And what determines whether one succeeds or not is if he keeps going, despite difficulties.

Well, that's all for my notes on this section.
There's no pressure for me to read the whole chapter at once.
I'm trying to understand every section, every paragraph, every sentence.

It's like taking a bit of a large wisdom cake 🍰
Savouring each piece for some moments each day, until the whole cake is finished.

(Hope you're not thinking of cake now 😅)

By the way, I'm on Facebook.
